CJI B.R. Gavai Enjoys Camel Cart Ride in Bikaner
CJI B.R. Gavai in Bikaner after giving Controversial remarks on Lord Vishnu while hearing case of Javari Temple broken idol of lord Vishnu, Khajuraho.

Bikaner witnessed a unique moment as CJI B.R. Gavai was spotted enjoying a camel cart ride on Saturday. The Chief Justice of India, who is currently in Rajasthan, was accompanied by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and Rajasthan High Court Judge Justice Vijay Bishnoi. The sight of the country’s top judge experiencing the traditional camel cart, a symbol of Rajasthan’s heritage, drew significant public attention.

During his Bikaner visit, CJI B.R. Gavai not only engaged with the local legal fraternity but also embraced the cultural essence of the region. Locals welcomed the gesture, saying it reflected the humility and grounded nature of India’s judiciary. The camel cart ride, often associated with desert life, highlighted the Chief Justice’s willingness to connect with grassroots traditions.

For Arjun Ram Meghwal, who hails from Bikaner, the moment was equally significant as he accompanied the CJI on the symbolic ride. Justice Vijay Bishnoi also joined the experience, making it a rare convergence of judiciary and tradition.
