Growth in Volunteers

Over just two years, Delhi has seen exponential growth in volunteer participation. From 5,000 volunteers in 2023, the numbers surged to 20,000 in 2024 and now stand at over 49,000 in Vidyanjali Utsav 2025. This milestone highlights Delhi’s commitment to mobilizing community support and setting a benchmark for other states in India.

Record Activities and Contributions

Along with the rapid increase in volunteers, Delhi has reported the highest number of activities under Vidyanjali Utsav 2025, crossing the 25,000 mark. These activities reflect the dedication of volunteers toward improving schools, supporting students, and enhancing the overall learning environment. In addition, the city has contributed more than 4,000 assets, initiated 10 CSR projects, and facilitated the adoption of 2 schools, further strengthening the Vidyanjali mission.

Innovative Initiatives

Delhi’s unique initiatives under Vidyanjali have set it apart as a model of community engagement. Programs such as Vidyanjali Mela, Each One Connect One, and Vidyanjali Utsav 2025 itself have become shining examples of Janbhagidari (people’s participation) in action. These initiatives not only encourage volunteerism but also foster a sense of collective responsibility in shaping the future of education.
